HOW FAST CAN YOU DRIVE THIS CAR ?
2005 HYPER RACING SERIES
The 2005 race calendar includes 4 diferent types of racing and each series will be run over 6 rounds.
The race series are:
• ROAD RACING SERIES - GTP and TransAm - Road and Race tracks
• The Mr VERSATILE SERIES - GTP, TransAm, Nascar and Trucks - Road, Race and Speedway tracks
• SPEEDWAY SERIES - Speedway tracks (ProA and A only)
• ENDURO SERIES - GTP and TransAm - Road and Race tracks
DIVISIONS
Divisions are: ProA and A, Bm and Cm (Monday nights) and Bw and Cw (Wednesday nights)
NOTE: ProA and A drivers can enter B and C division race meetings.
A division drivers will score points on the night towards a place in that race meeting,
but the A div drivers won't be counted towards that championship.
Points awarded for each heat from 1st place down will be 20, 17, 15, 13, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7,6 etc etc
At the end of the round the points will be recalculated for the championship by dropping the A div drivers from the results and awarding points from 1st place down as follows; 30, 27, 25, 23 21 20 19 18, 17,16 etc etc
STATE CHAMPIONSHIP
The top placed drivers in each Lilydale series will qualify to compete in the related State Championship held between the Lilydale and NarreWarren Centres in December
PRIZE
The ProA, A, B and C Division winners of each State Series will go into an exclusive draw for a Factory-Built ProtoGP.

Road Race and Speedway races $45 per round.
Enduro races $90 per car. 1 to 4 drivers per car.

All penalties will be administered after a decision by a jury of 5 fellow drivers
Punting on track or in pits will not be tolerated.
1st infringment - A black flag will be issued for a stop / go
2nd infringment - You will be ejected from the race
3rd infringment - You will be ejected from the race and the rest of the meeting and you will forfeit all points from the round
Exception to this rule - If a driver is being lapped by another driver and does not move off the race line on the very next straight (no matter how short) he may be punted by the lapping driver with no penalty to the lapping driver.
Weaving on the straights will not be tolerated.
You are allowed to move across the track, off the race line, on a straight once only to take a blocking line to make it harder for a compeditor to pass. You may only move back to take up the race line if the line is totally clear.
Infringment - A black flag will be issued for a stop / go
When passing on the entry to a corner, it is NOT your corner unless the front of your car is level with the B pillar of the car you are passing at the point of turn in.

| NOTE: Gradings are based on 2004 Championship results. Some drivers that possible should be graded higher were not because of lack of racing track time. Also the grading judges may have overlooked a driver. If any driver wishes to put a case forward for upgrading we are very open to your call. After the 3rd round of the 2005 season, the gradings will be reviewed. Also note that the difference in speed between ProA and A Division drivers is measured in poof-teenths.
